The purpose of debrief is to provide the debriefee dedicated time with a trained listener to reflect on their experiences, evaluate the impact of those experiences, and, through the work of the Holy Spirit, help individuals transition into the next phase of ministry more resilient and with renewed joy. A debrief is ideally conducted over five days in a setting outside the debriefee’s “normal” environment.

We believe that followers of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, are effective in walking alongside other followers of Jesus. Our goal for the Immanuel’s Way debriefing model is to equip believers with a biblical, simple, and reproducible tool built on the foundations of the Word of God, through the People of God, to achieve the Mission of God, following the best practices of other debriefing models.
